How to play Number Recall
Bring your attention to one round of Number Recall. Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions.
Read before acting
Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Keep the objective visible.
Your goal
Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Notice how the game responds to your input.
Step by step
- Select Start again to begin.
- Memorise the displayed number without entering it yet.
- After it disappears, type the number into the answer field.
- Choose Check number; a correct answer opens the next round.
Controls
Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Use one clear input at a time.
A useful example
If the number is 3072, enter all four digits in order. Entering 372 misses the zero. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Read the matching step again.
Watch out for this
This is a memory game, not a clinical assessment. A different version of the game may use a different rule. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
